Really like these shoes. Worn them at work and even for running a couple of times. They are very comfortable. The insole doesn't stay, but it was easy to fix with double sided outdoor tape. The laces gave up in a month or so. I am writing this review as I am replacing the laces. Would buy again, but it would be nice if the laces were made better.

I love the concept but these shoes really appeared cheaply made. I don't understand how or why they cost 150 a pair. The way they looked coming out of the box I immediately was disappointed. I hope the designer comes up with some nicer design's with time because I love wearing minimus shoes.

I already had a pair of the RA II and loved wearing them, so I decided to get a pair of Gobi II. They are equally as great as the ra's - amazing build quality, very comfortable for wide feet, and look great. I plan to replace all my shoes with vivo shoes over the next year. I like the look of Lems shoes, but the air injected rubber soles will prevent me from ever buying their shoes. Vivo shoes have a solid, thin, hard rubber sole that will last a very long time.

This is my first foray into barefoot type shoes. I’ve been looking at these for a while and finally decided to go for it. I’m hoping to harden my feet up for running and also lengthen my Achilles after years of wearing boots with heels.My first impression after a week of wear is these are great. I would definitely recommend sorta easing into these if you’ve spent your life in regular shoes. I take two walks a day at work of a mile each and for the time being, I’m still wearing regular shoes for those. These being my first barefoot type shoes my arches were a hair sore the first day of wearing these (I do average over 10k walking steps a day though). I’ll gradually move to wearing the gobi all day over the next few weeks.Build quality appears excellent, as you’d expect with a shoe at this price point. Look is great although I imagine that’s in the eye of the beholder. Overall my initial impression is overwhelmingly positive.

I have only worn this shoe for a week. However, I am blown away by the comfort and build thus far. I have worn minimalist shoes for going on 10-years, give or take. Hence, I have worn pretty much all the major brands. The Vivobarefoot Gobi II is my favorite (again though, I have only been rocking these bad boys for a week).The Gobi II has protected the foot well while also providing great ground feel and all the other perks that come with lightweight, flexible minimalist footwear. The shoe is a pleasure to wear all day whether traversing or lounging. The sole (and shoe in its entirety) seems well built and provides confidence in terms of long term durability. The styling is superb--far superior to any other minimalist shoe that I have encountered to date.The Gobi II came with a removable cork (or synthetic cork?) insole. I use the shoe without the insole, and it functions great in that manner. I can envision where the insole might be nice in winter, but I doubt I will ever use it. I guess I am just a pretty tough dude ;)The only issue I encountered with my purchase was in finding my proper size. I wear a U.S. size 10 (New Balance and Adidas), which should have put me in a 43 Vivobarefoot. However, 42 ended up being my proper size. Please take that for what it is worth, as fit is such a subjective concept.In closing, an amazing shoe that has promptly become my go-to footwear for professional and personal endeavors.
