I didn't check to see if all parts were there. I think this product had been returned because there was no tightening tool and one blue piece of silicone was missing.

I have an older office chair that I can't replace the piston on. It's so comfortable, but only sits six inches off the floor. Got a couple of these fellas, installed in about 10 minutes, and now the old chair is back!Slightly limits the spin of the chair, but I can put up for that now that I have my expensive office chair back!

I've used these on a couple of old secretary's chairs I use in my craft room in the basement. They are old and I weight a lot more that their designed support weight. As a result, when I sat on them within minutes they the height piston gave up and sunk to the bottom of its travel.After putting these on the pistons, the chairs now support me at the height I am comfortable with. It took a while to get the one chair right as I did not have the clamp on tight enough. You really need to reef on the bolts to get them tight enough, but they have been working great for four months now.In case you had not realized it, these clamps fix the chair height at one position. You will loose the up and down adjustment of the chair.
