I bought this system to replace my older single filter Waterflop system which blew out and flooded my kitchen. After all, now I can have three filters that can blow out and flood my kitchen. Anyway, you would think Waterdrop’s hoses/fittings would be standardized. Makes sense, right? Nope. The new metal hoses do not work with the faucet that came with the original Waterdrop system I installed 2 years ago. Those water lines were white plastic with quick connect connections. These new ones are like the hoses you get at the local hardware store, save for those funky connectors that go into/out of the filter itself. You will need to either a) get an adapter or b) purchase the DM-100 Vmasstone faucet (that comes with a variety of adapters for different R/O and water filter systems.). I bought the new faucet, which by the way is sturdier than the Waterdrop system.Problem #2: the new inlet hose didn’t work with my T-splitter that I used for the old system. So I had to buy a new T-splitter. What I needed to get was a double female connector to hook up the inlet to the new T-valve. So now I am waiting on that to get here. Not happy. After multiple trips to the useless local hardware store (they sell everything no one needs) I called Waterdrop and was on hold waiting for 15 minutes. When the rep answered, as soon as I heard him speak I knew we were going to have a problem. His solution was to send me plastic tubing so I would be running a metal hose in and plastic tubing out. That’s not a solution. That’s called cutting corners. Not acceptable. Waterdrop is aware of this problem and you’d think they would throw in adapters for people using their old faucet so they don’t have to spend more money to buy hardware to make this thing work.Trying to install this system has been nothing short of a nightmare. I previously ordered this system then cancelled the order. Changed my mind and reordered it and am so annoyed, I want to box this crap up and send it right back. They sell this on the premise that people all have the same plumbing set up which is a faucet with two spigots, one for hot, one for cold. My set up is not like that. I have a faucet and a single handle hot/water spigot that pivots to change hot to cold and vice versa. This is why I need the T-valve splitter. Also the line from my dishwasher is plumbed into the main water line. It’s obvious the people at Waterflop never considered plumbing is not one size fits all. I have spent almost $100 on fittings/adapters/faucet/connectors to make this system work in my home. I’m thinking I made a mistake. Please be aware that installing this system is not as easy as you think. Also, it’s absurd that Waterdrop doesn’t include a faucet with this filter system. If you buy the one for Washington DC, you get a faucet. I don’t live in DC and I had a Wayerdrop faucet that wasn’t compatible with this system because there’s no adapter for the new hoses. You’ll have to buy that separately. The only reason why I did not buy a real R/O system is because I am limited on the space under my sink. That’s unfortunate because those would probably be less of a hassle to install.

It’s crazy when you read the reviews, one person says it was the hardest thing they’ve ever installed, and the another person says it was the easiest thing they’ve ever installed.🤪 i’m an accountant by profession and do have some mechanical skills and own all the required tools. On a scale of one to 10, 10 being the most difficult and one being the easiest, I give the installation a two. And the only reason I give it a 2 is because you’re working in a confined space, blocked by the garbage disposal and sink pipes. First off make sure you have good lighting. Get yourself a floodlight and put it underneath the sink. Then just follow the simple directions. Took me about an hour and 15 minutes, I took it nice and slow. I listened to the Beatles Let It Be album two times. I had a local plumbing company quote $285 for the install. Sure glad I did it myself, Easy Peezy, nice and easy😁

I can't give it 5 stars yet because I've only had it a week. BUT, I did a lot of research and found this product to be the best for my area. We have terrible water, that smells like it has more chlorine in it than my pool. This has absolutely gotten rid of that. It does change your water pressure (for cold water only), but to me that's a small price to pay for cleaner water. I ordered more for my other sinks and for my fridge water/ice cube line.

Installed on kitchen faucet. Eliminated municipal water supply funky, chlorine taste. Only small reduction in water flow. I did not attach to wall, just set on cabinet bottom.

I’ve been using the Waterdrop Reverse Osmosis countertop filter for about 7 months now and absolutely LOVE it. I’ve only had to change one of the filters once this entire time.Fast forward to a new apartment where I wanted to slap a filter on the kitchen sink so I can wash my fruits and veggies with clean water. It was super easy to install and set up. It does decrease water pressure but not by a ton. And it’s water going through three filters… what do you expect?I highly recommend this filter. So simple to install. Provides clean sink water and is renter friendly. If you are a renter, install this while you have maitnance on site (if possible). When I disconnected my cold water line the bolt broke so I was unable to attach the corresponding valve. We contacted maitnance as they are onsite during business hours. He said he had to take a valve from another vacant unit as our sink brand no longer manufactured the correct part! Moral of the story— we would’ve been without water in our kitchen had maintenance not been onsite to swap out the valve.Anyway, I recommend you get this. 👍 I trust this brand

Easy, I installed this in about 20-30 minutes start to finish. I will mention I removed the sprayer and just repurposed that hole, so I did not need to drill it out. As for the water tie in, cut the water off at the sink, using 2 adjustable wrenches I disconnected the water line to the faucet, connected the line to faucet on one side of the... coupling? then attached said coupling back on to waterline. Using same adjustable wrenches tightened it back up. 2 screws hang the filter on the wall. Slip the included lines into the "coupling" and the included faucet to the blue marks and finished. It does a fantastic job. Started noticing a horrible taste to my tap water over the past few months, this got rid of it. As stated easy install. No leaks after about a month...ish. I'm no plumber by any means, seriously, a blind monkey high on bath salts can handle the install.

After reading about several under sink kitchen water filter systems, I decided to get the WATERDROP 3 stage filter. I considered three factors: levels of filtering, cost a year to maintain the system (cost of filters), and the easiness to install. I just like the 8 stage deep filtration system. It filters all the elements most common in city water and makes the water taste great. The maintenance cost is about average for most filters — about $100 a year — so this was not an issue to me. I could had gone for another system to save me 20 dollars a year but I just felt the quality for this water filtration system was superior.Installation was very easy. The system came with all the parts needed. The installation video in Amazon was very clear and helpful, and after viewing it about three times, it only took me about 15 minutes to install it (never installed a water filter before). After the system was installed, I let the faucet of water filtered run for about 10 minutes and checked for leaks — no leaks. Then, I made a taste comparison test between the water straight from the faucet and the water from the filter. The water from the filter was so crisp, clear and very tasty. (I had filters before, so I know what clean water should taste like). Now I can make a cup of my expensive coffee and enjoy the flavor! But to me the most important issue is that I no longer have to carry those 40-bottled packages of water from the car to the house. Very satisfied with the WATERDROP 3 STAGE FILTER.
