Mercer Culinary 6-Inch Curved Boning Knife, Black

Was very sharp out of the box, and looks like a good value for money, but when you realize how fast it goes dull you will wish you spent on a better quality steel so you aren't sharpening it so often.

I had no expectations from this knife. However, it's April 2024 and I've had it for a while and use it a lot. It doesn't keep an edge long compared to my Henkel, but if you run it over a steel it comes back quickly. Great knife for the price. Exceed my expectations

This knife is sharp and does the boning job easy.

I purchased two of these knives to use for when we butcher our meat birds and part them out for freezing. I've used them already on other cuts of meat to cut. They come out of the package sharp and are easy to resharpen when you invariably dull the edge with use. Seems to hold the edge fairly well also. I like how balanced the blade is, effortless cutting with it. I also like the grip as it is not slippery when wet, and brightly coloured to make it more visible on the work surface. If I ever need another knife i will definitely look here to purchase other blades.

Sharp, comfortable, easy to handle, and a great value. I bought it because it was recommended by Nazeem the butcher on TikTok. So far I have used it exclusively for deboning chicken thighs. It does a great job. For sure I will be buying more Mercer knives. Highly recommend.
