First, the size of the buds and the case is fantastic. I really like how tiny they are. Battery life is shorter than my old Galaxy Buds 2, but I still get plenty of hours. I haven't really tracked it, but I'd guess it's at least 5 hours. Popping them back in the case during a break will juice them back up pretty quickly.Sound quality is adequate. Not great, not poor. Just good enough for casual listening while I'm working out, walking the dog or working on projects. They are reasonably comfortable for my ears, and they stay in place. I appreciate the support of 2 connections, so I don't have to repair when switching devices. Also, I like being able to change the tap functions through the app. In my case I turned them all off, so I don't accidentally change the volume or track while biking with them and adjusting the fit to keep a good seal.The only downside for me is that the BT connection can be flakey. Range is fine, but sometimes one of the earbuds will just stop playing music. What's weird is that it's still connected, since if I toggle BT on my phone, I'll hear the "BT connected" message in both earbuds. But when I resume the music, it will still play only through the other bud. This is especially common when I switch between my phone and tablet. I've never had this issue with any other BT devices, so I'm pretty sure the problem is with these. The fix is that I'll have to put both back into the case for a few seconds and them take them out. It's a nuisance, but I can just live with it for the reasonable price. I don't know if this is typical, or if I just have a slightly defective earbud.

Before buying these I was using one of those headband headphone sets for sleeping. They worked well but the only one that actually fit my head didn’t allow for the electronic parts to be removed so it couldn’t be washed which was pretty gross after a while.I have Samsung buds plus for my every day earbuds but I really needed something small, cheap, well fitting, and that held a good charge without the case for sleep and before bed. These were perfect. I almost got the go air pop models because I like the skin tone colors but I read a comment on Reddit from someone that works for JLab that said the air pop go models dont allow for touch controls to be configured off in the JLab app and these do. Being a side sleeper I needed something that either didn’t have touch controls or could have them turned off and this was the best fit for me.I adore the color too, the seafoam green is my all time favorite color although I do with they would make these in the skin tone colors that they have the go air pop ones.The sound is good, the best I’ve found for under $100. Like I said I use the Samsung ones as my daily’s and then while they’re charging at night I use these for sleep so they really only needed to be halfway decent, which they are and more. They last about 6 hours at night so I’m well asleep before the batteries die and I only need to charge the case once every 3 nights or so.The Bluetooth works perfectly as far as I’ve tested. I can lay on my side without it disconnecting from my phone or tablet. I also appreciate the multipoint connectivity. That should just be how Bluetooth works anyway, so I appreciate that these have it. For the price these are more than perfect.The fit was a little weird at first. I have very small ears so it took some wriggling but once I looked in the mirror to make sure the logo was facing out I got the perfect fit. Once I got the feel of where it was meant to be I could easily pop them in and get the fit. The noise cancelling is mostly from the good seal you get from the correct fit but in any case it’s great.The surrounding awareness condition or whatever it’s called is great. I can be listening to music and if I think I hear my kid wake up I can pause it and tune in to listen better to my surroundings. Can also be used to put one bud on a wall and listen with the other to hear on the other side of the wall. Or put them in and pretend you’re listening to music and hear what people on the other side of the room are whispering about.Multi use ear buds for $40 with cool colors. What more could you ask for?

I have very small ears, and I have really struggled to find earbuds that are comfortable for more than a few minutes. These are very comfortable to me. I can wear them for hours with very minimal discomfort, and even when they do get slightly uncomfortable, I can just remove the earbud, rub my ear for a moment, and replace the earbud again at a slightly different angle.The noise cancellation is amazing. In fact, it might be a bit too good depending on where you need to use them. I have been out on walks and suddenly realized someone was right behind me when they went around me -- and I never heard them. If you need to use them where you need a lot of situational awareness, keep that in mind, and maybe only wear one of the buds.I think the sound quality is good. I'm not a professional in the music business or anything, but I have used earbuds I thought were good and others that weren't so good. As far as sound quality goes, these are the best I have tried. I am not saying they are the best out there, but of the ones I have tried, I like these best.They hold a charge for a long time, though strangely they don't always lose charge at the same rate. There isn't a drastic difference, like maybe a percentage point or two, but there is a difference.When they run low on battery, I really appreciate the subtle warning. They tell you once or twice the battery is low, and they give you plenty of time to get them into their case before they die. I have had earbuds that would start making a loud, obnoxious noise every couple of minutes until they died. That's really annoying, and I am so happy these don't do that!There are a couple of small issues I have that are not worth dinging them a star, but they are worth mentioning. Their connection is not the best. The sound will break up a little if there is almost anything between the buds and the device they are connected to. I have noticed this when leaving my phone in one room and walking into another, when putting my phone into the side pocket of my sheet while lying on the bed, and even while the phone is just in my pocket and I am walking around. It just sounds like a bit of static breaking into the music.The other thing is they aren't great for sleeping with if you sleep on one side of your head. Any pressure on the buds will cause the controls to kick in, and they will start to change volume or change from music mode to movie mode. I have dealt with this issue by using only one at a time when I want to use them in bed, and I put the other on the nightstand outside of the case so they will burn battery power at roughly the same rate. I do wish there was some way to control that better -- like if there was an app or something you could use on your phone to turn off the physical controls.Overall, though, I am pleased with these earbuds. They are so comfortable and work very well for what I need them to do. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
