I was hesitant to buy it after reading so many bad reviews but as I could return it if it was not working as it should I did order it.First push of the power button, nothing happened. Read the accompanying paper that you have to plug it in.Doing that it worked immediately. My guess is that they put it in a deep power down not to deplete the battery while on the shelf waiting shipping.I tried every accessory ports including external monitor, micro SD card (read and write), Bluetooth (4.0 BLE), etc. Everything working as it should. Battery charged quickly and after a few hours running fromthe battery it was still more than 80%. It also looks like new and was well packed. It is very fast and going from my 15.6" Lenovo was not as bad as I thought it would be, maybe because it is way faster than my Lenovo.Until now I am happy and I hope it will continue to work for a long time.

Purchased this refurbished Dell Latitude 7400 to replace/backup my ancient HP laptop. I’m a little too embarrassed to specify just how old my “old” laptop is but suffice it to say I’m very pleasantly surprised (shocked, actually) every time I sit down at my desk and discover it’s not dead ;-)I’m very happy with my new (for me) purchase.First, the machine arrived sooner than expected and was packaged very carefully and securely. When I pulled it out of the box and set it up it looked brand new, completely unblemished.Second, it’s very fast and – although some reviews I’d read before buying it complained about excessive fan noise, which concerned me – extremely quiet, silent even. The backlit keyboard is wonderful. And it has a fingerprint reader for logging in even though the ad copy said it didn’t. Which I really like. Some reviews also complained about poor battery life; mine seems exceptional: about 10 hours of life when unplugged.Would definitely recommend.

Received this Dell 7400 to replace a Lenovo (that I loved) but had a known hinge issue. This Dell is solid and a little heavier but should last for years. All keys and functions work and I immediately updated to Windows 11 and Office 365 without any issues. i7, 16gb ram, 512 SSD and expansion ports (HDMI, thunderbolt, 2x USB, micro SD and audio ports) all work as expected. Photos in the Amazon listing show a slot for a SIM card for cellular/mobile access but mine didn't include that. Not a problem since I will only be using wifi via a hotspot or public internet access when traveling and don't need a dedicated SIM. I was also not expecting a touch screen but surprise - the one I received did have a touch screen so the finish is glossy. It does seem to have a privacy filter built in so the viewing angles aren't the best but certainly passable for a $325 refurb. Also, the built in speakers aren't very good and located under the laptop but I plan to use earbuds or external speakers so these will be just fine for the occasions where they will be needed. I received the laptop in less than a week (not using Prime) and all in all I am VERY impressed at the value and features in the laptop that I received. This laptop looks brand new (does not appear to be refurbished at all) and again - amazing deal for $325.

The 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8665U processor combined with 16GB of DDR4 RAM provides smooth and efficient multitasking capabilities. It's a good value, especially if you're considering a renewed model. While decent, the battery life could be better, especially if you’re using it for extended periods without access to a charger. The laptop features USB Type-C and HDMI ports, but it might lack some connectivity options that are available on other models

I received my "refurbished" Dell Latitude 7400 on Saturday and spent Sunday transfering files, downloading software, and setting up the device to be used for a small business. The first thing that stuck out while using was the fact that with my standard typing pattern, letters were missing in my words on the screen. The keyboard has numerous problematic keys, requiring a solid, direct push to make them work. The battery is defective, as, just as the description through Amazon states, it will only charge to 80%. That would be great if it worked as a standard, non-modified battery. Unfortunately, upon unplugging the unit and using it directly off the battery, the laptop shut off after about 45 minutes from having no power. Those problems would be bad enough, but now, after less than 3 days of use, the unit won't power on at all. Thanks for the hassle Amazon. --A touch of an update. After contacting the seller, the have offered to send me a new computer, but also showed me a trick on how to get the current one back up and running. However, if the issue persists, it's going to need to be replaced regardless. Unfortunately, after taking 2 days getting this one set up, the hassle is huge. This issues with this one could have been tested prior to sale, which is becoming an unfortunate waste of time. Due to the courteous nature of the seller's customer support, I'm bumping things up a star, but if this needs replaced, that may change.Another update: I have altered this review again, as the laptop is not functional anymore. The include software was glitchy, the power source had constant issues, and the screen would de-pixelate constantly. It was functional but annoying for about 6 months. After that, it was useless.
