Dont be fooled by the small tanks. I'm washing my outdoor furniture with the medium tool (I do find no matter what machine you have, I also purchased a hand held specially selected brush, to work out the dirt real good) and this machine has a very pleasant smelling soap and the extraction works great. I dont add any water on my brush, I spray with the tool that comes with it, which I really like and I coat it pretty good. The formulas last a descent amount of time. I would not say this would wash any carpet, but it would be able to get stains and areas clean that you would do by hand. This machine has excellent suction, so I worked and worked to get the dirt and water out. The water carraige had a great deal of very dirty water, but the water level is low, so it doesn't need much water to get well cleaned furniture. This patio set is about 7 years old, never washed it before and its really coming out nice. Old wear is not going to wash out but very clean, smells really nice. Now I can once again lounge outside on my beautiful furniture set and read a book. The machine itself, so easy to use and I love how each thing "clicks in" so I know it is all engaged nicely. Be sure to clean its little filter, so easy, and the rinse and go is amazing. The soap and water unit, again, lift and fill, slide back in place. It is a pretty lightweight thing and I like that it stays stationary as I use the hose and tool. It does not tip or easily slide around, which is an asset for sure. It is an excellent investment.

Forget Bissell products, they are a joke and have now all been trashed. This is the best upholsterer I have ever used. My dog was sick earlier this week on the couch and I used my Bissell pet eraser thinking it would help; and I when I sat on the couch the next day there was the worst smell ever left over! That prompted me to purchase this and with the next day shipping I busted it open the moment I got it and I have never been this excited about a product before. It Literally comes with everything you need, the solutions and a billion different attachments. I didn’t realize it came with a pet mess tool and it is godsend. It has a separate receptacle to collect mess if needed to prevent from going to the main tank. I cleaned my couch and the amount of dirt it picked up was insane. My couch smells so much better and the suction is AMAZING. I’m so excited to use this in my car and anywhere else to be upholstered. To top things off, I always had a hard time with maintaining my Bissell machine but this one is so easy with after use care. You can actually take off the top of the tool and rinse out any dog hair and residue! And the dirty tank lid comes completely off so it’s easy to clean out the remains without leaving anything behind. I’m over here trying taking this to my parents and friends house literally wanting to show them how cool it is! Don’t even hesitate, just buy it, it’s amazing!!!

I bought this because of the flexibility and uses for many things. I would for the most part recommend this to people who plan to immediately clean any spills, stains or for smaller jobs like couches or car upholstery.While I understand this isn’t an industrial carpet cleaner I did also purchase this to clean a 3x3 area where my cat has decided to boycott her litter box and pee specifically in one spot that I only recently discovered. I got the job done but scrubbing deep into carpet took some playing with all the attachments and about an hour of applying a lot of pressure and slowly dragging along the carpet. The suction quality of the larger 7 inch head piece is much more effective than the spill attachment with the separate fluid holder.You also do have to make sure you’re angling each head just right and applying decent pressure to get the fluid out of the surfaces. And I want to emphasize you don’t just want to keep spraying like I did thinking that the carpet wasn’t wet enough for the suction. The smaller heads for me had much less suction.This not an effortless cleaner which is expected for being such a small machine but it works great. It can get a little messy emptying it if you’re doing nasty jobs like cat pee and then having to handle the heads to clean them.Some people complained about leaking. I simply just turned the power off when doing the scrubbing so the spray button doesn’t work.Overall I’d highly recommend. Good for the price, compact and easy to store and clean.
