Overall it runs smoothly. I wanted something I could take on the go, and it does well. But the storage is awfully small. So I decided I'd get an SSD. Got a 1TB SSD only to find out I can't install it because the screw was stripped and stuck in there. So I can't download everything I need, and I can't increase my storage. Needless to say I'm frustrated I spent $70 on an SSD that I can't even use, and cannot return. So if you don't need a lot of memory, you're good. This is a great laptop if that's all you need. But if you need extra space you might be out of luck.

This was purchased specifically for gaming. It worked well to start off but we quickly realized that it would benefit from more RAM. We purchased some 16GB DDR4 SO-DIMMs (32 GB total) and installed the RAM and now everything is fantastic. RAM installation was relatively easy. Getting the cover and all of the screws removed took a few minutes and RAM installation was less than a minute. Total upgrade time was about 8 minutes.
