I charged this thing up when I got it, and it took a friggin week before it needed to be charged again. After I was done with initial performance tests and stuff, I was using a very light workload for just school work and almost got 2 weeks of battery out of the second charge. This model also has dual internal fans which have never once came on.The speakers and internal mic are so good that it rivals a budget studio setup, the only issue I found is that the display is actually really dim. It’s 1600nit, but only with HDR content. Normal every day use is locked to 500nit, same as the Air which was the entire reason I got the Pro was for the brighter screen.However, I bought an app called Lunar which allows you to use the full 800-1600nit brightness whenever you want and it was worth every cent.Also, if anyone cares, this is within margin or error when running DaVinci Resolve render tests to my render server which has a Ryzen 5 5600G, RTX 3080, and 128GB of RAM. So it’s not “better” than my render server, but it uses a fraction of the power doing the same performance.
