Bought with ultimate bead and jewellery making kit from Amazon . This book helps to reinforce the techniques and instructions from jewelry making classes. But can be used as a starter for anyone interested in jewelry making.

Bought the book hoping that it would include details for different techniques for beginners.Obviously, seeing as it was for someone just starting out, I didn't expect to see so many expensive materials for a novice. Half of the book is dedicating to crafting beads/ jewellery material from scratch. Meaning buying things like sheet metal, firing clay, and also potentially having access to a KILN (!) or, the more affordable, hand-held butane torch (!)While that's a cool concept, it doesn't help in teaching actual jewellery making techniques. So, since I don't plan on buying a torch anytime soon, 2 stars. It won't be super useful for beginners
