Coben's early books were great. This one was not as good and I feel his last few books are not up to his par. This has the typical seen with Myron ready to be easily killed but he escapes. It is as if you expect the unexpected. I enjoyed the book but really was not super intrigued even though the plot was unusual.

I just realized that I have been reading this series for over 20 years. I have so many memories of my children at different ages while reading a Myron Bolitar book. This series has only gotten better with time. The book starts off with MB SportReps having just reopened their doors, and the FBI dropping in for a chat with Myron. It seems one of Myron’s former clients, Greg Downing, whom readers of the series know that he has a long and storied history with, and who Myron previously eulogized at his funeral, left DNA at the scene of a murder, and they want to know where to find him.Since Myron was never officially fired by Greg(he just died), he feels he is still a client, and must find him, and get to the bottom of whatever is going on. Immediately he and Win, who is one of my favorite characters of all time, set out to do just that. This book is so well written, and the dialogue will make you smile, and occasionally laugh out loud. If you have never had the joy of reading this series, I am so jealous, because it truly is one of the greats. I am super excited for the series coming to a streaming service that rhymes with “Bet Hicks”, and the standalone book “Win” is excellent as well. Please don’t pass on this book. I promise you won’t regret it.

For me, there is very little that can compete with the treat of sitting with a cold beverage and reading Coben's latest Myron Bolitar/Win Lockford novel. Their novels have become "must read immediately" for me since I first discovered them years ago. The incredible friendship and loyalty these two friends have is extraordinary and their exploits, coupled with wise cracking and genuine affection, keep bringing me back for more. Of course, the chasm between Myron's conflicted sense of right and wrong is so juxtaposed to Win's views that life is simple especially if we just eliminate the bad guys.In "Think Twice", both Myron and Win are stunned to learn that Greg Downing, a man whose life has seemingly been intertwined with Myron's since college, may still be alive even though he was declared dead and buried years ago. This revelation leads to our heroes running a parallel investigation with the FBI to discover where Greg might be and what his relationship to a newly discovered serial killer might be.The plot is tightly constructed and many of its elements seem fresh in "Think Twice". My only quibble is that Win, while integral, is not active enough in this story. Again for me, Myron alone does not carry one of these books nearly as well as when Myron and Win are together. Myron needs Win and vice versa. My last quibble is with Coben's writing schedule. I have become a committed reader of all his material but it seems Myron/Win have been slid to the back burner as this is their first new novel in years.

I’m reading this book while I was in the hospital so I was on a lot of drugs so I did have a bit of trouble with the flow, but I think that’s because of my mental state and not the way the book is written. The characters are easy to follow and like or hate The plot was fun and I became attached to the main character Myron. I didn’t really know what was going on until about 65% of the book was finished which I found a little disturbing but again my mental state , but if you’re looking for a quick read, good Page Turner I recommend this book , don’t think twice lol.
