A fantastic read. AmazingI am truly in awe of Pamela Anderson. What a remarkable spiritual and knowledgeable woman❤️❤️

I had never known all that much about Pamela Anderson, other than the usual tabloid fodder. After reading and article in Better Homes & Gardens about her and learning of her memoir, I was intrigued. After reading this book I have not only a new respect for Pamela but she gave me hope to keep plugging away - reaching, searching, and living - just being. This was a wonderful look into a humble woman hugely misunderstood but thriving - all on her own terms. Great Read.

A good inside of who Pamela Anderson really is, once you get past the beautiful face and body. I’ve never really knew much about her other than her love for bad boys, and her sex symbol status. I don’t read biographies very often, but this is a good one. I’m glad I read it because it brought Pamela into another light. Amazing to see how truly, innocent, humble, strong, intelligent, and talented, she really was and is .. not to mention she proves in this book that nothing else mattered when it came to raising her sons. God bless, I just wish I would’ve read that while she is open to broaden her horizons, she never took the opportunity to put her faith and trust in God .. but in her life, she proves that this is yet to come.

Honestly, I went into this book with quite a bit of prejudice, thinking I'd find more of a rock and roll tell-all that I could quickly read as a distraction. But Ms. Anderson had much to teach me. Throughout my adult life, I didn't think much of her beyond her iconic status as a sex symbol. To discover that underneath all of that, there lies an actual human being, not only determined to make the best out of her life, but to make other lives better as well. Not that it matters to her, nor should it, but I have true respect for her.The book itself is well written, with good flow. The use of her own poetry worked to me for the most part, especially when it served to provide much deeper insight into what's truly in her heart. However, I could have done without the poems that go on for pages. The bottom line is that it is an enjoyable read, except for the accounts of her difficult childhood. That information is really necessary to understand how she became the person she is, but it's not "enjoyable." It's painful, as much of her story is. But she perseveres and continues to learn and educate herself throughout her life.Though she may look the part, she is no stereotypical "dumb blonde," which is a very offensive characterization that many beautiful, blonde women are still saddled with in the present day. On the contrary, her curiosity and the joy she gets from learning indicate that she is significantly more intelligent than many people, including myself, would ever imagine.

I've always loved Pamela. She is an extremely intelligent woman who Hollywood treated poorly, took advantage of and portrayed her as a "dumb blonde" She is far from it and this book showcases her authentic self. I'm so happy that she was able to share her story and her truth. I read the book and then watched the documentary which I must say are very similar and why I suggest reading the book first, She wrote the book on her own, not ghost writer, no one helping her. This book is written from the heart. It's typical Pamela, loving, silly, down to earth and unfortunately sad at times. I was shocked at her humble beginnings which has clearly been a factor in keeping her grounded, loving and humble in her own right. She found her voice in this book. A hopeless romantic who just wants to been seen and loved for who she is, a great mom, loving daughter, devoted friend and incredibly hard worker. I don't want to give too much away because this is a book worth reading. I believe it will change the negative opinion some may have of her (unfounded by the way). I'm so happy she found her voice.SHE'S BACK!!
