Picked this up for a small premium over its competing 384/576-zone VA panels from more well known manufacturers like Acer/AOC. Testing this against my previous Legion y27q20 side by side and there's no comparison for performance, contrast is a night and day difference with similar color accuracy.Build quality is decent, has good range of motion with no wobble. Screen didn't have protective plastic peel for some reason but the stand did.Local dimming feature should only be used with HDR. There's some mild blooming with white text on dark backgrounds but other than that the algorithm handles it well with the 1100 zones on a 1440p pixel screen.No USB hub, USB-C functionality or other nice-to-haves but at this price point it's a pretty tough ask esp for an IPS screen.Comparing against OLED this is imo better if you do any web browsing or office work at all, not having to stress about burn in and wait for maintenance refresh is a huge plus for similar image quality.Overall I give it a 10/10 for value and an 8.8/10 for performance.

It's a good IPS monitor, but local dimming could be better. I'd still prefer this way over the AOC Q27G3XMN Va Miniled which I returned almost immediately. The native contrast, IPS glow, colors, brightness are way better than my five year old LG GL83A IPS monitor. This panel gets very bright, turn the brightness up and local dimming to high and games and movies look really good better than OLED in many scenarios. Though with local dimming set to med or low makes the screen look really dim. Text and subtitles sometimes would look grey or bright depending on background. I couldn't get HDR to work, all the streaming or video platforms I tried doesnt recognize the HDR. Also when u turn on HDR most settings are locked out and u have to adjust brightness in the Windows display settings. Should turn local dimming off for productivity work or general browsing. Screen also puts out tons of heat, which makes my face uncomfortable. Build quality is above average. Don't like the pointy stand but offers lots of adjustability.

Completely punches above its weight. Amazing contrast and response times. Insanely bright but that can be adjusted. Also the only monitor you'll get at this price point that comes correctly precalibrated. HDR1000 support
