I was procrastinating for several years rather or not to discard my old ridgid power tools because the batteries took a crap. Well.. I held onto the tools and threw the batteries away and kept the charger, thank goodness. So, I decided to purchase these generic batteries and glad I did. Everything has been sitting on a shelf for about 10-12 years. I installed the batteries and my power tools came back to life 😊I now have two sets of everything, one can never have enough tools. I am grateful that I bought these batteries because I didn't want to spend the money to buy new ridgid batteries and a charger, it would have cost as much as buying a new combo hammer drill, circular, trouble light and a sawzall set.
