Super happy with how convenient playing on console is. I've had to take a step back from gaming on pc because I've gotten tired of and am having a harder time of justifying the semi-constant expensive upgrades for a gaming pc now that I've had the recent-ish life change of becoming a single parent. The PS5 slim does the job it's designed to and does it fairly well. The performance on games is acceptable, and I can just come home, relax, and enjoy my little leisure time actually playing my games.Does it give stronger game performance than my pc? No, but I don't need it to. I just need it to play well enough that I can enjoy myself.

Got it for my daughter and she loves it! We finally upgraded from the PS4 to the PS5, and it’s definitely worth spending the money. The games look amazing and run super smooth. Just make sure to upgrade your memory too — I recommend buying a separate hard drive for extra storage. Overall, a great system and tons of fun!

People complaining about this being 700 or I guess 750 now cuz of you know the economy but at the same time the PS5 when it first came out 5 years ago during covid was still 500 dollars. The graphical upgrade the Fidelity the size of it all worth it. The only thing I didn't like is the fact that I had to buy this drive but it was only 70 bucks so it wasn't really that big of a deal. So I can still get disk games and 4k blurays. You dont need it but its a nice to have the menus are faster and games are nicer. It does run a lot hotter in games like ghost or Yotei so rememeber that and sure it had good ventilation and away from the wall and not in a cubby hole or you will shorten the life of your ps5 or any electrical device. One minor thing I wish you could do is increase your fan speed cause like said she does get warm with the equivalent 3070 video card in it from the equivalent that was in the ps5.

A longtime PlayStation fan, I had been putting off getting a PS5 until the three following milestones occurred:1) a reduction in size of the console2) a reduction in the price of the console3) a reduction in the price of games for the consoleI thought that the introduction of the PS5 Slim last fall would spur my purchase, but Sony didn't cut the price, and even older PS5 games were still selling for $70.But finally, during the Days of Play event this spring, Sony knocked $50 off the console's price -- I didn't want the Spiderman or COD bundles, not my favorite games -- and I decided to act. Four years is a LONG time to wait to play a new R&C title, after all!So here are my thoughts on the PS5, now that's in my house:1) Setup is remarkably easy, including wirelessly transferring game save information from a PS4. It did take me a while to figure out how to turn off the female voice heralding all my actions (under Accessibility options).2) The PS5 runs like a champ. So far, I have not been aware of any fan noises or clouds of warm air exhaust spewing out.3) The DualSense controllers had weaker rumble than I expected. It turns out that the rumble motors default to the "weak" setting if you have the controller's microphone enabled. I turned off the mike, and the rumble was back at full force, but with more finesse than that experienced with the PS4's DUALSHOCK controllers. If I'm not mistaken, the precision of the DS controller actually seems to improve my game scores...4) The new user interface is kind of a mess. In particular, leaving the POWER button off the Home page was a boneheaded move. One of my first issues with the new console was -- how do I turn this bloody beast OFF??? I wish that the controller battery gauge was on the Home page as well.5) It was a brilliant idea making the disk drive detachable. The one problem I had with my PS4 involved the machine's failure to read disks after a few years, which I am guessing was an issue of a dirty reading head; I sent the console to Sony to be fixed, and it came back working perfectly in one week. Now I assume I can just repair or replace the removable drive without sending in the entire console for repair...6) Now that the PS5 packs 1 TB of memory, I was wondering how soon I would need to add more memory. Currently, I have plenty of memory to switch back and forth between a number of games, including Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, plus several from the PS4, including WRC Generations, Far Cry 6, and Resident Evil 4, as well as the Pinball Arcade. One good reason I wanted the disk version of the PS5 was to minimize the size of game downloads to preserve memory.7) The audio/video performance of the PS5 to play back DVD's and Blu-Rays is outstanding. And I was happy to find that the excellent Bluetooth PDP media controller I got for the PS4 works with the PS5 as well. Yea -- that made me feel better about spending $30 for the PS5's vertical stand instead!8) And some of the PS5 titles are FINALLY coming down in price: Rift Apart and the latest Star Wars game, for example -- two AAA titles -- are now available for a far more affordable $30.So if you have been putting off upgrading to a PS5, it may be time at last to make the move, provided you can catch a special promotion. And to those who say, "Game consoles' days are numbered," I say -- as long as many of us prefer to play games sitting on a couch, enveloped in booming 3D sound and watching our dazzling big-screen TV's -- long live PlayStation consoles -- especially those that serve as a 2-in-1 machine, with built-in (or detachable) disk drives that also play DVD's and BR's!

The PlayStation 5 Pro takes gaming to the next level with ultra-sharp 4K visuals, smoother frame rates and stunning ray tracing. The PSSR AI enhancement makes games look incredible, and the 2TB SSD gives plenty of storage. It’s sleek, quiet, and feels premium. Delivery was quick and packaging perfect.✅ Amazing graphics & performance✅ Smooth gameplay✅ Big 2TB storage✅ Fast delivery❌ No disc drive (digital-only)Overall, an absolute powerhouse worth every penny for serious gamers!

Is it worth it? Oh, absolutely! Is it necessary? Not really. If you already have the standard PlayStation 5, there's no need to go all out and upgrade to the Pro unless you have specific reasons. The graphics improvements are subtle—hard to notice unless you're actively looking for them—and while the increased speed is a nice perk, it’s not a game-changing upgrade. To be honest, the biggest factor that makes the PS5 Pro truly shine is having a compatible TV that can push 120Hz. Without that, most of the advantages are pretty hard to appreciate. So if your current setup doesn’t include a TV that supports those higher refresh rates, you probably won’t notice much difference in gameplay experience. But if you do have the right TV and some extra cash to spend, then by all means—go for it. It’s a solid piece of tech that delivers when the rest of your gear can keep up.

Ive been having anton of fun. Product was packaged professionally, there's nothing malfunctioning and it hss no scratches. The game play is smooth and outbof this world for a console and the extra spend for the Pro is worth it if you have a high quality tv

If you have option to pick up from other bender, I suggest to do so since the box was beat up and seal was broken. The inside was totally fine so I ended up keeping it but Prime discount was not worth it for that. The transfer fromPS4 to PS5, you need to use LAN otherwise it will take forever. The PS5Pro itself, yes it is overpriced gadgetSome argue not enough games list for PS5, but to meLOADING speed is the main reason purchasing it.PS got decent enough PS5 games and also my favorite RYUGAGOTOKU like a dragon series have PS5 compatibilitythat's good enough for me to play for a while. Still compared to PS4Pro # of games is not enough. Some might go after SWITCH2 which is understandable, but to me, discounted PS4 games with no or less loading times is the main reason for PS5Pro.ALL PS4 games (RDR2, AC series) fast travel is way way quicker. The Graphic is based on what kind of TV you have, if you dont high end TV, you might not notice major differencefrom PS4PRO, so having 4K or 8K TV is a must.PS5PRO also have 3D sound setting which is presently surprising good. The controller is also expensive but battery life is almost double compared with PS4 which is good.UI especially the folder settings, I prefer PS4 for easy to use. Also Theme / back ground I prefer PS4.Still once you used to the PS5PRO, not likely going back to the PS4Pro.PlayStation stars / loyalty program is also must since purchasing digital game will get 10% pointsand the points expired in 2 years, but you can redeem to PS card to charge your wallet. It is bulkier than PS4PRO...just FYI.No disk drive, no vertical stands, no discount, but it got 1TB additional internal drive, 10% ish faster loading timegraphic and performance mode same time, so if you are a heavy gamer, go for PRO is well worth it.

I bought this console just to play monster hunter wilds as my windows hand held can not really give me a good gaming experience. At first I was hesitant because of the size of the unit itself as I am always travelling around the world and the console is bulky but I later found out that there is just a small size difference form the regular one and the slim one. With this I decided to just get the pro version, anyways I am still going for digital games so as not to carry my physical copies of the game. I got me a disc drive but I am planning to remove it as it adds more weight and I do use it.The best thing about the PRO version is the quality it puts on the table especially pairing it up with a good portable monitor with 120hz display. I can then choose to go with Raytracing quality for those RPG games where timing is not that important, or go for balance quality with raytracing with an increase in FPS or just go performance mode with higher frame rate maintaining good quality without ray tracing. Since I usually play this on hotel TV's I would just go with performance for now unless I play it on a portable monitor where I usually switch to balance mode. The upgrade roadmap for the PRO version is also good as they are still planning to upgrade the FSR/PSSR down the line making it a useable for longer period of time.

I recently bought the PS5 Pro, and it's amazing! The graphics are super clear, games load very fast, and it runs quietly. The new controller feels great with its special vibration and trigger effects. I can really see a difference in performance compared to older consoles. If you love gaming, the PS5 Pro is totally worth it.
