I bought this for myself. I have trouble at work to see small print on my reports. This product will be a lifesaver! I tried it out here at home and I’m impressed with the quality and ease of use. It’s also lightweight so if you pack it in your purse or briefcase you won’t even notice.

I bought this for viewing board game card art and text in a low-light area. The size and shape is perfect for this purpose.CONS: Its 3 settings are bright, too bright, and excessively bright. The light is white, which is good for true colors, but never pleasant. The hinge squeaks. Its touch-button will be hit by accident often (had it been a press-button, it would have been perfect, because it's positioned well).PROS: Well-made. Handle allows for convenient vertical, horizontal, or diagonal positioning. Large viewing area. Can view from a distance without hunching over it. Very clear with only slight distortion at the far edges. Nice set, including soft satin-feel drawstring bag, soft cleaning cloth, power cord, and instructions in intelligible (if not perfect) English.It's of medium weight, works well, and has a nice style, but I can't speak to longevity, as I haven't had it very long. Overall, very pleased with the purchase.

I wear reading glasses and this has eliminated the need to switch out eyewear now. During the day, the light is not needed. I really like the broad scope of the magnifier. When held at the right distance, you can view the entire width of the page without the need to move it to see a full line. While reading in bed, I use the lowest light setting and it is more than needed. The only thing I don't care for is that the touch button to turn on the light is so sensitive, sometimes I turn it on by accident when putting it in the storage bag. Not a deal breaker, I just know to be cautious when stowing it away. I haven't seen another one of this quality and ease of use, so if you need or want one, I do highly recommend this one.
