I love the variety in this beautiful, big, coloring book. Lends itself to colored pencils (NOT markers as the paper isn't a heavy weight). Note: If heavy paper was used, it would be as thick as a dictionary.If you want to use markers, I would definitely use at least 1 or 2 backing sheets underneath so as not to bleed through to the next page or two. Also, you could scan the designs and print out on your own paper. Budding artists might also enjoy tracing out portions of designs -- so many ways to use and enjoy this beautiful book.

Did you know that you can take any spiral bound book to a Staples or Office Depot and have it spiral-bound? It’s an amazing and wonderful thing and it’s very inexpensive to do. That is what I do with all of my coloring books that come with no spiral on them, I take them in and have them spiral bound. It makes coloring, easy and fun. This book is very well put together and the pages are magnificent. Highly recommend.

I have had many, many mandala/anxiety relief coloring books in my 40 years of life, but this one is by far the best and most thoughtful.Pros:* Each design is on its own piece of paper. There is no front and back design!* The back of each sheet is completely black and that ends up looking really nice on finished pieces.* Each design is different and are nice quality, artistically beautiful and unique.* This is a pretty large book with many pages.* Across the book, there is a variety of intricate detail.* Doesn't really bleed too bad, considering I'm using super bright permanent sharpie-type markers.* Each sheet of paper has a nice thickness.Cons:* The black color on the opposite side of each design does slightly alter marker colors until they are dry.* Book is not perforated, so I used a box cutter to pre-cut each page out and use the binding as a folder.* Does bleed a tiny bit with heavily inked markers, but this can be helped with a single sheet of paper in between.Honestly, the cons are nothing. This book is fantastic and I will likely buy it over and over again each time I get low on pages in the current one. On the other hand, I purchased several other mandala books at the same time by another author that, while the designs were gorgeous, the paper may as well have been toilet paper because the markers feather and bleed like a murder scene. Thank you, author/publisher for making sure to release and create a high quality and anxiety free book for me to use as a relaxation method! I LOVE IT AND I LOVE YOU ALL FOR IT!

This book is nice and the quality is pretty decent, only shortfall is the pages aren't perforated and some lines don't quite match up, but overall a great deal and nice way to relax and turn off your mind and color.

Lots of unique designs that are fun to color, and the paper is thick enough that my markers don’t bleed.
