The leather quality is nice. The fit is very good. And I like the smooth transition for the camera bump. But the bottom cutout is too big and makes my phone uncomfortable to hold. I prefer the original Apple leather case.

I recently invested in the Wilken iPhone Leather Wrapped Case, and it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both quality and appearance. If you're on the lookout for a case that seamlessly integrates with MagSafe and plays well with accessories like the Belkin Mag Stand Charger, this one is a winner. The genuine leather wrapping on this case exudes a luxurious feel, elevating the overall aesthetics of my iPhone. The attention to detail in the craftsmanship is apparent, and it adds a touch of sophistication that I truly appreciate. It's one of those cases that prompts compliments and inquiries about where I got it.What sets this case apart is its flawless compatibility with MagSafe technology. The precise alignment ensures a strong magnetic connection, making every interaction with MagSafe accessories seamless. I particularly love how effortlessly it works with my Belkin Mag Stand Charger, making the charging experience both convenient and efficient. Two potential drawbacks. One is that the Wilken iPhone Leather Wrapped Case falls on the slightly pricey side. While the quality justifies the cost for many, it may be a consideration for those on a tighter budget. However, if you're willing to invest in a premium case that delivers on both aesthetics and functionality, the price tag may be justified. Two, the silent switch is difficult to access for users with short nails. I have to use something small like a paper clip to toggle the switch.

Why spend so much on a case? As my phone is something I touch many times a day, having a case that sparks joy every time reach for my phone makes it worth the price. The case is well made, with quality materials. The leather is of good quality and does not feel cheap. The gluing is spot on. It's probably not as durable as a robust shock-proof, rubber, 360 degree, drop from an airplane phone vault. But, what it lacks in robustness, it makes up for in class! The leather darkens over time, as it develops a natural patina. This is a feature, not a bug. I like that this makes my phone case uniquely mine.I wish that it didn't have a W stamped on the back of the case, but for that feature it would probably cost twice as much.

Fit is good, feel is good. The one i got for a iphone 12 pro doesnt have the bump for the camera area. I assume it is for good reason since in really is not necessary, and the phone will lay totally flat on a surface. I thought that detail looked cool, but im glad it is gone. The major mystery is the material and texture. I know the color is a paint/print process, but the texture seems as well. Super high quality texturing, but not a texture from real leather. I know there are manufacturing techniques with products like this that do amazing things, and this 100% hits all the marks, but i just cant figure it out. That is cool. Anyway, its cool and stands up to the leather apple cases, which I always have questions about their material and lamination anyway. I do really think it is well executed product and recommend it. Nice flawless manufacturing magic. Im a designer, and cant figure out how this is made. Bravo! its cool!Edit: I actually like this case a lot more than i thought i ever would. The best thing are definitely the button bumps. They feel beautiful to use. i just had to add more since i sort have emotional feeling about how good this is, and how happy i am about my purchase. Worth the money, and then some.

After opening the package containing the iPhone 12 Wilken phone case I immediately noticed a very caustic odor (it was not a “new car” odor, which I could have tolerated) that caused burning in my eyes & sinuses - I’m very sensitive to such odors. It is such a beautiful & well crafted case — fits my 12 perfectly & have no issues with buttons response — that I didn’t want to return it before trying to rid it of the odor. I tried letting it sit in my cool garage for 8 hours but the odor didn’t lessen at all. I decided then to contact Wilken for their advice on removing the odor as I know that different leather processing methods for different products sometimes require different methods of removing odors. The Wilken rep was very quick to respond & suggested that I wrap the case in newspaper & baking soda & let it sit overnight. He also advised that I could use a damp cloth to help remove any residue of baking soda from the case that would not dust off, especially inside the case. I use baking soda often on new sheets & clothing when washing them the first time & it always removes the chemical odors, so this seemed worth trying. This morning I unwrapped the phone case & was pleasantly surprised — no caustic odor, just a mild but pleasant & non-irritating “new car” smell, which I expect will itself dissipate over time and use as the patina develops.I’m a long-time user of Apple’s leather cases, but starting in 2012 they began using inferior leather that does not wear well for even a few months. I’m so glad I found the Wilken cases for both my iPhone 12. The leather is soft & supple and crafted beautifully. I plan on keeping this phone for at least 4-5 years & I’m sure the Wilken case will still be on it and in great condition to the end.I highly recommend the Wilken cases, and know that if you have an issue with their product you will receive superior customer service if you contact them.
