I was suprised at how much i like the look of this Goild Rush addition, i thought the colour gradient may look tacky but it actually looks pretty cool.I have not had the chance to try out the games yet, but the battelfield games have always been of decent quality. Now, i have a Non 4k Tv and a 4K projector. Playing games in 4K is absolutely awesome, but i can also say that playing games that are 4k supersampled for an HD screen is also a marked improvement, also knowing that you can have this with stable frame rates thanks to the power under the hood is great

I bought the to replace my original Xbox one due to it becoming a bit loud and having a 4K tv, other than that I never had any issue with it. Sadly I can’t say the same for the Xbox one x. I’ve encountered numerous problems such as pass key issues (I never used this but the console demanded I enter a code). It turns off fine but won’t swtich on wirelessly with the controller, I have to physically press the power button instead. The download speed is horribly slow and it won’t auto update or auto install anything. What a load of garbage. If you already have an Xbox one, even if it’s the original this really is not worth the upgrade. You will experience the same old problems plus new ones. Get a switch or PS4 pro instead (or stick with the original Xbox one) as I’ve never encountered issues like this with them. The Xbox one x is more like a bad pc with all the troubleshooting you will find yourself doing. Oh and about 25% of the hard drive is unavailable right out of the box, it should be described as 750GB storage and not 1TB.

Tricky to give 4 or 5 stars as some of the negatives are inherent to the xbox, not this specific version.Got this as a Black Friday deal at a very good price. Was also able to tack on some other games with it to further enhance the deal. I already had BF5 on PC so this was a repeat but no downside really for the price of the whole console. The graduated bronze/black finish is very nice - looks subtle but different to straight black. You get a standard grey controller in the box with it and the usual assortment of controllers. While my box seals were variably open, like others, everything was present and valid within the box.The xbox as a whole is powerful and fairly easy to use - limited storage though even with 1TB - it gets used up quickly. The default drive is also slow. I’m instead using an external Samsung 1TB SSD - which with the USB3 link is quick and responsive. The inbuilt drive is used for the less important things.its been reliable so far and impressive graphics. Liking how easy it is to just turn on and use, especially compared to PC gaming which requires tweaks to get the best outcomes.Network performance is variable - I don’t think the inbuilt WiFi card or Ethernet are very good quality ones - they seem very peaky and give different performances compared to other devices on the same WiFi within the same room. Even wired its variable, which points to the device itself.Overall though an excellent version of the XBOx and the special finish is very nice.

Bought this bundle for/on black Friday event, was delivered a day before initial delivery date quoted(Tuesday), bought a 4K monitor(Samsung28" with AMD freesync) from another distributor on cyber Monday- same day Xbox 1X arrived. Setup was easy, managed to play a game of PUBG so as to compare it to Xbox one gameplay....no comparison can be made, I'm enjoying playing the game again.Still need to download BattlefieldV......it's not ever likely to be pre-loaded onto the console, as one complaint indicated!Everything is exactly as described in the pictures associated with this console, colour scheme and extras. It is notably a solid bit of kit and weighs a lot more than the Xbox one.I'll amend accordingly if there are any issues in future..

As several other reviewers noted the box came with two sets of seals one of which was already cut through. Also after only 6 weeks of use the unit has failed (PSU failure) requiring return under warranty from Microsoft, upon organising the return it became apparent that the 12 months technical support on the unit had started in May 2018 whereas I didn't buy it until Jan 19. Makes me think this was a refurbished/reconditioned model in the first place. When it was working it was as advertised (and a big step up from my previous One S) all the download codes worked, just annoying I now need to be without an Xbox for some time while Microsoft Fix it as well as the hassle of packaging it up and getting it to a UPS depot.
