So disappointed in this island! Looks wise it is stunning, BUT the measurements are completely off. It's multiple inches short than what is listed. Now we're trying to figure out a way to make adjustments to make it a "normal" height. It's really unfortunate because it is beautiful.

Table is great! But it's lower than I expected. I'm going to try some table risers, that should do the trick.

Like some of the others, I added some wood to the bottom of this table to transform it into a bar height table. I love the lights and the design is perfect, it's just too damn short. I got the wood at home depot, bought the same paper on amazon and some epox and made it my own. I love the length.

After seeing myriad HGTV reno shows that featured these wonderful waterfall kitchen islands, I really started to want one … our condo kitchen is a tiny galley, but I began shopping online for such an island to replace the small Duncan Phyfe drum table Hubby and I were using as a dining table in our living-dining area. And I came upon this beauty.We appreciate the care with which it was packed (the packing items included some light, marble-print, particle board-y runners that, had one of them not come apart so easily, we might have thought were assembly items).I ordered the island/table despite dreading the job of putting it together. I looked online and managed to find a local furniture-assembly handyman to put it together for us. It is exquisite; my husband REALLY loves it.Two minor issues …1. There was a small dent/break in one of the side panels. I took some white paint and created a slightly raised streak that blends in with the streaks in the design while covering up the blemish.2. The lights that came with the table worked only a few days. I was so excited … I installed the recommended phone app to turn the lights on and off remotely; the app came with a BUNCH of fun flash pattern options, including flashing in time to songs. I invited a friend over to show off the table and the lights, only to find the lights had gone deader’n a doornail. The Bluetooth connection option had disappeared and when I tried to turn the lights on manually using their switch, nothing happened. And nope, nothing is wrong with the electrical outlet/extension cord. But oh well; the table is the main thing. Overall, it really is a dream for the price.
