Works as a French press. Makes good coffee and it looks very nice with the stainless steel finish. The double layered stainless steel walls are not bonded together well, though. When the French press changes temperature rapidly, like when hot water is poured in or it cools down when washing, you can hear air escaping from between the double walls.

I've had several presses over the years and I think this one is perfect. It is all stainless steel so it is durable, no microplastics in the coffee, no plastic parts to break. The handle is much easier to use than the arched type.Now the silly stuff. The finely graduated volume marks on the inside, direction sheet in many languages that directs one to put coffee in and plunge, stainless steel stirring spoon with a strange alligator clip attached, several replacement screens, I've used presses for 10 years without needing a new screen.I would suggest the manufacturer etch a mark on the lid that indicates the open position.I expect the press to last long enough to be handed down to the next generation.

I bought this in Nov 2022 and didn’t want the glass bc they tend to shatter when you’re not careful. The sleek look it’s great. It’s sturdy and easy to clean. There are some grounds that get through if the coffee is really fine but I just added another screen filter .

I bought this because I knocked over my press and it broke. I got it in literally two days which is unheard of where I live. This press is beautiful to look at... very art deco designed. It is sturdy and easy to use and clean.Kept my coffee hot for over an hour.If I were to give you one piece of advice when using a french press is get something long like a chop stick or a kabob stick or even just a butter knife and stir after you put the water and coffee in before you put the plunger down. It aids in the brewing of the coffee and makes pushing the plunger much easier.I am glad I bought this product and would buy again but hoping I do not have to lolol
