I am fairly new to 3d printing (Bambu Lab P1P) and have tried out a few brands of filament so far. I decided to order this filament due to wanting to try out a silk filament and a multicolor filament just to print fun and simple prints.First thing, the filament arrived in a sturdy cardboard box, vacuum sealed with a little bag of desiccant, pretty par for the course for most filaments I've tried so far. Where the Gratkit filament stood out was the inclusion of a nice re-sealable plastic bag that can be used to store the filament and protect it from humidity when not in use. I haven't received one of those from any other major filament brand I have tried so far.Next, I loaded up the filament, chose a generic pla silk profile on orca slicer and went to printing. I figured I'd see what went wrong and do some tuning afterwards. My 3 year old chose the shark shown in the pictures and it printed nearly flawlessly in a bit over an hour. I moved on to the skull planter and it printed in just over 4 hours. The max volumetric speed chosen by orca slicer was 7.5 mm3/s which, isn't the fastest but also not slow by any means. The Gratkit pla handled it fine and I'm sure I could have upped the speed if I wanted to. No flow issues at all and the consistency of the filament was good. The colors are nice and my bad lighting and phone camera don't really do it justice. I will definitely try out some other colors in the future and would recommend this filament.
