Does the job well for stuff that is not liquid.

I am using this to make nut flours and it works very well...so much better than the wet container. Because the nuts are hard however, they score the plastic. I would have given this 5 stars if the container was glass and if it didn't cost so much. However, even so, I'm glad I bought it. It makes lovely, very fine cashew flour.

Works great for grinding coffee beans and making my own fresh flour.

Purchased it as the price is cheaper than at the Vitamix site. Used it for the first time to grind sesame seeds. It works great and turned to powder form in no time, it is not too loud either. I read from other reviews that the tamper does not come with it. Mine came with the tamper as well so not sure why some others do not have the tamper with the container when they purchase it. I love it!
