While this rechargeable magnifier is sleek, attractive, and comes with a protective sack and cleaning cloth., it does not hold a charge well. I have to recharge it after only a few hours of reading. A similar, less expensive product we purchased in the past had fewer bells and whistles, and was much better.

I use my page size magnifying glass all the time. It makes reading easy especially with the brightness levels available. It is very light weight and inexpensive. The size makes it easy to use and you don't have to slide it back and forth to read a whole page as it fits easily over the page.

This is a lightweight plastic, but that makes it easier to hold and use. I love that I can recharge instead of batteries. There is a small dial to control the light from dim to bright. And you can lay it on the book or lift it a bit to get more magnification. It even comes with a soft fabric bag so you can protect it if you pop it in a tote. Depending on the print size, sometime I just rest it against my body and use the light to read at night. I have cataracts, not severe enough to require surgery yet, but some books require more than just reading glasses, especially at night. So I love this.
