I recently upgraded my Dell Inspiron 5759 from 8GB to 16GB of RAM, following a SSD upgrade in 2017. The RAM installation was easy, much simpler than the Samsung EVO SATA SSD. Prior to installation I grounded myself out by touching metal that went into the house’s foundation, to avoid issues another 5759 reviewer had. When I restarted there was a system message that recognized the new RAM and I clicked continue and had no issues whatsoever. This RAM upgrade noticeably improved my laptop’s performance. Applications run faster, multitasking is smoother, and overall, the system feels a little more responsive.Although it’s not a solution for the lack of firmware security updates on older laptops, in terms of performance alone, this upgrade has made a moderate improvement. It’s a great, cost-effective way to extend the usability of an aging laptop.Highly recommended for anyone looking to enhance their old laptop’s performance!

Wanted to improve an old laptop that had built in 4GB, which was not enough for most light tasks. Unfortunately, the laptop's max ram was 12GB only, so this was just perfect to get a performance boost. You can always rely on Timetec to increase laptop rams no matter what model/brand.
