This 4TB drive is nearly perfect,except you may want to keep it unplugged to your console,cause if you leave it plugged in the next time you turn on the console,the screen will be black,and have to unplug the console itself,users may vary.Online service games can't be downloaded on drive,example Overwatch,Darktide,First Descendants,NBA 2K,etc.If you want to hold,and save online service games buy a Seagate expansion card,made by the same company.Backwards compatible games are encouraged,old Xbox live arcade games,and apps vids,and more.Sorry if it feels like this review is all over the place,but I've only had it for a few weeks now.

This works seamlessly with the Xbox Series X/S, in my case the X. You literally just pull it out of the case and plug it in. Games run just like on normal SSS drives. A little expensive but worth it.

I was hesitating buying this product for years and I finally gave in… and I do not regret a thing. I never have to worry about storage space on my Xbox Series anymore. Even with over 30 games downloaded (not old 360 games) I still have 1.1 TB leftover! I’m able to play brand new games straight off the external hardrive because it is the same kind as the internal harddrive! It’s super portable, easy to install, and very functional. This is one of the biggest quality of life upgrades I made for my Xbox. I understand that the price is intimidating, but if you game regularly, then you CANNOT keep waiting. THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH IT.

If you switch between a lot of large games, this is perfect. Instead of deleting and redownloading, you can just swap a game out in about ten minutes, extremely convenient.

It’s great! While it is expensive, it is definitely worth it. I can play all my games on it and the transfer speed is fast. It moved my 178GB game in like 5 min!

Let me start by saying this is an excellent device and if you're a gamer or have more than one person using the Xbox, it's an actual requirement.Pros - Easy to use (plug and play), lots of space, very fast, necessary for Xbox Series optimized games.Con - Only one con. PRICE! Even though the price has dropped, it's still far more expensive than it needs to be, especially when you consider that the PS5 has ones that are double this capacity and faster for the same price or this size for far less. (the caveat with the PS5 is that you have to open the case and screw it in whereas this one is literally just plug it in, but hardly worth the extra price). As games get larger, game pass gets even more games and the push for digital over physical media continues, you can't help but feel gouged by the price on this one. The new prices are much better but far from perfect and after this amount of time, it's hard to justify that it's not cheaper to create these and that should be passed to the consumer.

It's a great external HDD, I'd recommend this HDD, if your needing an external HDD for xbox one , or xbox series x (ONLY TAKES XBOX ONE, XBOX 360, AND ORIGINAL XBOX GAMES!!!!), so if your trying to install xbox series x games I recommend installing them on the internal storage of your xbox one or series x. (NO EXTERNAL DRIVE WILL WORK FOR SERIES X GAMES), as there possessing needs are to high for external HDD drives.But it's amazing for what it is meant for.

The product came very fast and is working perfectly thank God I have enough storage to add my game and play it now..very easy to use and came with a PlayStation store free trial
