Wow the picture is awesome. Got it on sale (that's the only way to buy this VA panel g9 240hz monitor as oled sometimes gets cheaper than regular price). That being said. The picture is truly awesome. Strong colour and fairly intense blacks imo. I have heard OLED supposedly does blacks better. But this unit has NO BURN IN possible.Would recommend. Only thing I can think of is after mounting it I thought oh man I shoulda got bigger 😁

Didn't see any review of this model here yet, so I will gave mine. This monitor is absolutely fantastic, bought one from amazon warehouse, as used but very good, it was very good indeed. 240hz with this image quality is .. wow ! black is true black, white really hurt our eyes (so bright).- Had to return it, after exactly 6 days, during a gameplay of Assassin Creed Odyssey (Yeah odyssey, exactly same name of the monitor, I know) this monitor got black and the leds look like they couldn't stay brighty anymore, so I was looking at some shadows images only, neither the monitor's menu I could visualize, checked the entire web, using my other monitor, and I found that if I turn it off for 5 minutes from outlet it would fix it. I did it, really fixed my issue for less than 5 minutes then the issue returned. It ruined my gameplay night, so I gave up. Next morning I turned my PC ON, monitor got exactly 50s of live then shadow images again. Had to call amazon to return it :( ... (did the 5 minutes thing again, and it is working since then, but I can't trust on this piece anymore)Really sad because I got it at less than $1500, the new one is $2250 right now. Amazon wouldn't give me any discount for the issue I had to pass due their low QA at checking the product back and low QA of samsung in the first place.Look like this monitor heats a lot and something at the panel got wonk.I had a bad luck with this one, going to buy a brand new one this time, with extended warranty and if everythings goes smooth I will come back for a new review using the new products review link.Good luck with yours and if you noticed something really weird, ask to replace it immediately, this monitor is really expensive to get ourselves comfortable with any kind of issue.

I had some trepidation ordering an Amazon Warehouse open box, but with 30 days no questions returns I took a chance. The worst thing that could happen was I returned it for credit on a new one and pay the difference. So glad I did! The trim tacky tape was still on it! The discount almost covered the monitor desk arm!The monitor itself is a true thing of beauty. The 1800R curvature makes this an excellent productivity & video consumption display. 120hz panel, so it's eminently suited to gaming, QLED LCD so zero chance of “burn-in” and the colour gamut & saturation is gorgeous right out of the box. The colours on this made my retiring monitor look like washed out pastel shades by comparison, the HDR1000 adds specular highlights for greater visual fidelity. While OLED is still visually superior I can sleep well knowing I CAN'T suffer burn in.It's so good I believe it will hold its value for resale when the time to trade up to microLED panels 3 - 4 years from now.

I read online forums and watched all the Youtubers for 3-4 months before purchasing this monitor. My two worries were scaling applications easily like a two monitor setup, and if a 2060 video card could push hard enough to play games as 30X0 series video cards are nearly impossible to find at the time of this review. There's a downloadable app called PowerToys with a something called "Fancy Windows" that allows you to divide up the screen very easily for productivity apps and it's actually glorious for me. I have 3 apps divided up evenly on the screen and there is lots of real-estate for it at the native 5140x1440. I had thought that I would have to run the 2060 video at 1080p, but have been surprised that by turning down to medium settings in games I can 70-90 fps in top titles at the full native resolution. I know most people would prefer to see over 100 fps, including me, but whether it's g-sync or something else, it feels smooth and is truly incredible. Far Cry 5, Witcher 3, Doom Ultimate, Battlefield 4, Battle Front 2, Elder Scrolls online all look great with minimal to no stretching at the sides. Fallout 76 is a mess as it has terrible support for Ultrawide. I only had to turn one game down to 1080p and I honestly cannot really tell. RTX is unusable dropping even Quake RTX down to 13 fps but it was never a great option on a 2060 anyway. In terms of the monitor itself. HDMI sound is not working. I'm deciding if I want to try a firmware update to fix this. I'm not sure it's that important to me. HDR is great in games and most games see it and turn it on without needing to turn on the dismal Windows implementation of HDR. The colour is great and the whites are very white. I didn't know what I was missing with my old ASUS gaming monitor. I definitely recommend this to a gamer that is savvy with their tech. If you are not a tech type and are uncomfortable with changing resolution settings and fixing glitches when you change the wrong setting, you might want to wait until there is better windows and game support for these.
