I live in the Dallas area, and our humidity is usually around 40-45%. I have a friend who told me that his experience is that water is a big deal for his prints I only have less than 10 rolls of filament, right now, so they fit into a couple of medium sized storage containers.I dry my rolls, and then immediately move them into one of the storage boxes, to be ready for my next print. Since I already have desiccant for my storage boxes, I went ahead and fashioned a small container to fit under the curve of the rolls, along the corner of this dryer box. This box is reasonably priced, especially since it holds two rolls. It seems to work fine, as of the first few rolls I've tried it on. I do wish there was a way to constantly display the humidity. I ended up also putting a small humidity device in there, where I can see it.So far as I can tell, this is Good Enough. Recommended.

I haven't been super impressed with this filament. It's not bad. I don't want to give that impression and I'm no expert. That said my results with it have been a little inconsistent. I've printed a bunch of large prints. Parts for my printer as well. All of the parts are functional and decent looking. That said it seems brittle at points and not at others. I did put the roll in my dehydrator for several hours and it did peel off about .5 ounces in weight which leads me to believe the symptoms I had were caused by moisture. I've only had this roll for a month or so and I keep it in a ziplock with a large desiccant pack. This makes me wonder about the condition at packing time. All that said, for basic prints the results were acceptable. The price was reasonable and it's a large roll. I've found others I like better but if you get a good price and just want a large roll to crank out some big parts this works fine.Update: Customer service from Comgrow is excellent. They have reached out multiple times to assist. I will give their products another try knowing they stand behind them.

I was alittle skeptical due to the low price, but it does work. I live in an area where we hit 98% humidity frequently and this got my filament down to <27%. Improved my print qualities immensely. It definitely isn't top of the line, but for the price you can't expect it to be. What matters is that it works, and it works well.

Edit: Seller contacted me and confirmed that the fan needed replacement and will be sending a new fan to swap with the bad one. Changing to 5 stars for fast service and a good unit that just has a bad fan. If you get this I would also pick up a cheap pack of 4010 12 volt fans so you can easily replace the fan, or just wait for the service response. The fan is just below the supports with 4 screws in deep pockets and the connector is held in with hot glue. This unit is good to dry out two 1kg rolls of filament at the same time and you can even feed the filament directly out of the unit into your extruder. The touch controls are a bit unintuitive but are quick to navigate as it is a very simple device, but effective. It is great for hydroscopic filament like PETG and is great to throw new rolls in just to make sure they are properly dry before first use!Bought this unit in April of 2023 and it is now Jan of 2024 and the fan now only makes an angry buzzing/growl noise with intermittent screeches. This unit was good while it lasted, but the fan is an extremely cheap choice for a heated chamber. I'm tempted to see if I can access the fan and do a fan swap and see if that fixes the issue.
