I discovered that the menthol in Bengay has an anti-itch effect when applied to mosquito bites. I know that ingredient is in Tiger Balm, too, so I thought I'd invest in a tub to try it out.Turns out to be rubbish against bug bite itch, but when I used it for its actual purpose - muscle pain relief, it worked really well - far better than Bengay ever did. I guess I'll have to keep the Bengay around in the summer when mosquitoes are abundant, but this will be my go-to remedy when I have sore muscles from now on.

It is wonderful. I use it with cupping. It helps reduce my lower back pain.

I've used Tiger Balm for years- for my own aches and for my massage clients (when needed).I normally choose the red ultra strength.I recently found this "professional size," and gave it a try, even though the color is yellow, not red. I thought it would be less potent. I read the insert product information, and learned the yellow color will help to avoid discoloring clothing (& sheets). So, now I prefer the yellow or golden color for that reason. I left a previous review saying this product was yellow, so not Ultra strength, but I was wrong. It IS ultra stength, and now I prefer it. I'm not too old or hard-headed to change and endorse this great product.

The product it self is amazing. If your muscles and tissues are sore or strained this product does wonders. It takes serval minutes but then you can really feel the ingredients work into your muscles. It feels invigorating. if your issues are deeper like joints and ligaments or bone then I doubt this will help or work for you. I have a torn meniscus and to help alleviate some discomfort and pain I tired this product but didn’t get much relief but again overall soreness or over exercise tissues it’s great!***Shipping improvements***The product needs to be sealed better. Or have some kind of cooling pack for shipping. I live in Las Vegas and the heat makes the product leak and spill out of the tin. No fault of anyone or shipper just needs to be a thought for future customers in high heat areas the product may leak out of packaging. Mine did.

I guess that I commonly sleep incorrectly, because I can wake up with strain in my neck, shoulders, and back. I bought this at the suggestion of a colleague, and I'm glad I did.
