This is supposed to have a warming effect. It does not. It has no analgesic, theraputic or warming action at all. It does not seem to have any active ingredients at all. Save your money. This stuff is worthless.

First I should say that I have early onset severe osteoarthritis in my knees. A combination of an active childhood and adolescence followed by 2 decades of adulthood sitting at a desk 9-11 hours a day will get you there fast. So I’m willing to try anything for relief! Penetrex Arthritis Pain Relief Cream is gradual, but has provided amazing relief for my knees. I would suggest starting with a very light layer on the area you wish to treat and wait a half hour or so before adding more to test the strength vs your sensitivity to it. I only had to use a very small amount for it to work. It lasts about 12 hours for me. It is activated by motion, so a lap around your house or a gentle massage should do the trick. ALWAYS wash your hands afterward and again if you touch the treated area. This gives the same reaction as hot peppers or hot sauce: if you get it on your hands and touch your eyes, it’s going to burn, so stay vigilant. The price is just okay, but when you consider that you only need a pea size amount for about a 6 inch area, it is well worth the cost. Five stars, two thumbs up.

It didn’t work much. This is bad nerve pain. I’ve tried everything and wish something would work. Probably works ok on regular pain

I have looked for a long time to find something that worked for my Fiance because what he was using for his hip and leg relief after playing basketball smelled so horribly it made me sick to my stomach. He says this works great after he starts to play he feels the heat and it relieves the pain and keeps working for hours after playing until he takes his shower. I highly recommend this (he is very picky, lol), especially if many of the other products on the market bother you re: smell.

This product works quickly to relieve muscle pain and I feel confident that I will not smell like liniment! I’ve used Tiger Balm for years and I love it, but I would never use it if I were going out.This can be used anywhere and the pleasant scent goes away in a few seconds while the relief is ongoing.I highly recommend this product.
